OLD SCHOOL HOUSE MUSIC CRUISE

What if I don't have a roommate? Can I still go on the cruise?

Absolutely ! We have people coming from all over the country, and many are also looking for a roommates. We will match you with a roommate if you need one. Just let us know in the comments section of your registration form.

How many people can be in a cabin?

There are two people in each cabin. In some cases you may be able to get a single, and stay in the cabin alone, but the price is DOUBLE the cost, and taxes. Since you're not going to be in your room much, we don't recommend getting a single, unless you absolutely have to. It's better to just let us pair you with a roommate. It's a great way to meet new friends !!

Are the prices listed per person or per room  ?

Unlike with hotel rooms, with cruises, all prices are PER PERSON.

Since the rate includes all meals, ship amenities, parties and entertainment, it's a great deal!

What about deposits, are they per person too?

Yes, our $200.00 deposit is per person, not per room

What are the gratuities while on the ship?

as of December 1st, 2011  The amount is

 $11.50 per person per day

(this can be lowered or raised at your discretion on the ship)

What happens if I don't make my payments on time, or miss a payment?

The ship requires all large groups such as ours to pay in full 60 days in advance of departure . Your space on the ship is not secured until your payment is made. You risk losing your money and your spot on the cruise if payments are not made. We really want you to party with us and the rest of the ladies, so please make sure your payments are timely :) If you are having trouble, please contact us.

I plan to be on this same cruise that weekend. Can I still attend your parties and events?

No, all of our parties and events are for EXCLUSIVE to those booking through our group leaders through this website

Unfortunately, we cannot accomodate outside guests

What is included in my FINAL price ?

Your cruise price includes all meals (both formal sit down meals and informal 24 hour buffets), drinks such as tea, juice & water, all shipboard entertainment, access to the discos, casinos, fitness center, pools, water slides, miniature golf, PLUS admittance to ALL of the EXCLUSIVE events.

 What is NOT included ?

The cruise price does not include activities you may want to enjoy while on the islands, souvenirs, casino gaming money, spa services, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, or mandatory gratuities on the ship of $10.00 per day per person.

Since alcoholic beverages are not included, can I bring my own?

Yes, but there are restrictions : The ship allows you to bring one regular sized bottle of wine or champagne with you at the beginning of the cruise, only. No hard liquor is allowed to be brought onboard at any time.

The ship is very strict about this policy, and will confiscate.

Cocktails, of course, can be purchased on the ship. You may also bring a limited supply of canned soda/pop, typically no more than a few cans. If you plan to bring liquids and are flying, please check with your airline because they prohibit liquids from being carried on with you, you can only put it in your checked luggage. Better yet, just come in a day early and buy it in Miami.

Does our group have the entire ship?

No, but all of our parties and events are private and exclusive to our group. We booked a block of cabins reserved specifically for our group. No outside passengers will have access to our events.

I have paid my deposit, am booked on the cruise, and would love to help out. Do you take volunteers to help onboard the ship?

Sure, we always have a need for positive, vibrant personalities. Just send us an email to the email addresses ON THE CONTACT US PAGE letting us know your area of expertise, and we'll see how we might be able to work together.

Does Carnival have any luggage restrictions?

Guests are encouraged to limit their checked luggage to two suitcases per person, with each suitcase not to weigh more than 50 pounds and not exceed 16"h x 24"w x 30"length. Please attach your Carnival Cruise Lines luggage tags PRIOR to leaving home and make sure that they are still on your bags when checking in.  In many ports, guests have the option of carrying luggage on board at embarkation and off the ship at the end of the cruise as long as it does not exceed 24"w x 16"h. This is an advantage you may want to consider as it will allow for quicker easier access to your bags.

Please note that Carnival assumes no responsibility for carry-on luggage. Alternatively, curbside porters are available at the pier to take luggage to the vessel for delivery to your stateroom by shipboard personnel. Customary tip is $1 per bag. Please be sure each piece of luggage is locked and has a tag listing your name and stateroom number. Curbside porters are not employees of Carnival; therefore, if you experience any problems, please report them to porter management on site. Any luggage left at the pier will be forwarded at your expense. Claims for luggage loss or damage must be made in writing to the debarkation personnel prior to leaving the pier area.

Debarkation Baggage Advice – While onboard, you will be given numbered debarkation tags to place on your luggage. Please fill out the information on the back of the tag, and remember your zone number. when your zone is called, please proceed off the vessel to claim your luggage. It is easy to pick up the wrong bag, so check to make sure your name is on it. If your luggage is left at the pier, it will be forwarded to you at your expense. Claims for lost or damaged luggage must be made in writing with our debarkation personnel before you leave the pier area.

Can I travel if I'm Pregnant ?

Carnival's policy regarding guests who are pregnant:

Guests who are 24 weeks or more into their pregnancy on the date of disembarkation will not be allowed to sail. Pregnant women less than 24 weeks must submit, prior to departure, Carnival's Pregnancy Certification Form, which must be completed and signed by the guest's physician. On the Pregnancy Certificate Form, the attending physician will be required to certify the gestational period and that the expecting mother is fit to sail.

What are The Policies Regarding Children?

Carnival's policy regarding traveling with minors:

Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a parent, grandparent or guardian 25 years or older in the same stateroom.

Minimum age for sailing will be generally 6 months. Please note that adult guests are responsible for the safety and behavior of their minor guests.
